Brotherhood
The purpose of the Brotherhood is to promote spiritual and moral support among its members and to encourage each other in love, prayer, faithfulness and leadership. The Brotherhood also focuses on bringing men into close communion with God.
Past presidents include Fred Misher, Arnold Rayford, Leon Phelps and George Rayford.
The Brotherhood is under the current leadership of Deacon M. O’Brien. He has been president since 1996.
Mission
The Mission is dedicated to the study of God’s word in ordr to promoite the spiritual development of its members. The Mission is committed to satisfying the spiritual needs of all people through benevolence.
Sunday School
The best school you could ever attend is Sunday School! The goal of Sunday School is to promote Christian education through the study and teaching of God’s Word. Children, youth, and adults are provided with the opportunity to discover, review, and interact with each other as they dive deeper into God’s Word.
Past Sunday School superintendents were Jesse Mae Quarry, Earlene Jones and Johnnie Mae Robinson.
The current superintendent and assistant superintendent are Deacon M. O’Brien and Sister Linda Burnett, respectively.
Ushers
Our Ushers are dedicated to welcoming members and visitors into the worship service, esorting them to comfortable seating and contributing to afulfilling worship experience. The Ushers aid the Pastor, Deacons and other church leaders in the collection of tithes and offerings.
Deacons
Our Deacons are spiritual leaders who aid the Pastor in the order of service. They lead in prayer, devotion and teaching and assist our Ushers in the collection of tithes and offerings. They are strongly committed to enhancing the worship experience.
Trustees
Our Trustees handle the business of the Church and are devoted to assisting the Pastor in spiritual, administrative, financial and legal matters pertaining to the Church.
Youth & Children
The Youth Department is devoted to providing Christian education to the children and young adults. They participate in programs to encourage public speaking, praise dancing, singing, playing musical instruments and other areas of inclusivity in the worship experience.
Music Ministry
The music ministry enhances the overall worship experience. Ministering of the gospel through songs of praise and worship allows worshippers to become spiritually in tune and prepared to receive the Word of God.
Our current choirs are the Mass, Young People, Male, and Mission.
The music ministry is under the direction of Sister Cheryl Clansy and Sister Shirley Baines, and Rev. Raymond Mayes (Guitarist).
Benevolent Ministry
The Benevolence is dedicated to showing God’s love through charitable giving to attend to the needs of the poor and needy.
