Dr. Quincy B. Rodgers accepted Christ at an early age. Like most children, it took awhile before he realized what it truly meant to be a Christian. As he grew in God’s knowledge and love, it was placed on his heart to enter into Pastoral Ministry. He started preaching at the age of 33. Two years later, he started pastoring his first church.
In 2002, Dr. Rodgers started pastoring Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church. For the past 18 years, Pastor Rodgers has focused on 3 main cornerstones of God’s Word: preaching it, teaching it, and most importantly, living it.
He loves to teach God’s Word inside and outside of the church. He currently is a professor at Southern Reformed College & Seminary where he teaches on various Biblical topics. Prior to teaching, Reverend Rodgers obtain his degrees in Doctor of Ministry, Master of Divinity and Business Administration.
On a personal note, Quincy lives in Humble, Tx with his wife of 20 years. He is a proud military veteran and retiree from Shell Oil Refinery. In his pastime, he loves spending quality time with his 4 children and 3 grand-children. He enjoys going to the movies and riding his motorcycle over the United States with his friends.
In all that he does, Dr. Rodgers strives every day to live his life as an active example of the Word of God through displaying love, patience, and forgiveness.
